Google+ Domains API Terms of Service

By using this API, you consent to be bound by these terms in addition to the Google APIs Terms of Service (available at http://developers.google.com/terms).
  1. Additional Terms

    You agree to comply with the Google+ Platform Terms of Service (available at http://developers.google.com/+/terms), which reference and require compliance with the Google+ Platform Developer Policies (available at http://developers.google.com/+/policies).

    Capitalized terms used here but not defined here are defined in the Google Apps Agreement of the Customer in whose domain the Google+ Domains API is used.

  2. Amendments to Google+ Platform Developer Policies

    1. A. Amendments applicable if you are a Google Apps Customer

      If you are a Customer of Google Apps who is using the Google+ Domains API with your own domain, your use of the Google+ Domains API is subject to your compliance with your Google Apps Agreement and the Additional Terms for Use of Additional Services (available at http://www.google.com/apps/intl/en/terms/additional_services.html).

      You acknowledge, in particular, your obligations under the "Compliance with Laws" and "Privacy" sections of the Additional Terms for Use of Additional Services. Section A1 (Required privacy policy and other notifications) and section B (Personal information from the Google+ APIs) of the the Google+ Platform Developer Policies do not apply to your use of the Google+ Domains API.

      Confidential information Content obtained from Google using the Google+ Domains API is subject to the confidentiality obligations contained in your Google Apps Agreement.

    2. B. Amendments applicable if you are a non-Customer developer of a Domain Management Tool

      If you are using the Google+ Domains API with a tool you have developed to allow a Customer of Google Apps (other than yourself) to manage, use, or interact with Google+ within a Google Apps domain (a "Domain Management Tool") then:

      • Section B1(c) of the Google+ Platform Developer Policies does not apply to your use of the Google+ Domains API with your Domain Management Tool for a particular Customer where you have obtained from Customer, and contractually required the Customer to obtain from End Users, explicit consent to store End User data for a certain period of time.

      • Section B2 (Deletion Rules) of the Google+ Platform Developer Policies does not apply to your use of the Google+ Domains API with your Domain Management Tool, provided that when a Customer using your Domain Management Tool terminates Customer's Google Apps account or relationship with you, you delete all Customer Data, including any Customer or End User personal information that you have obtained through the Google+ Domains API (subject to the exclusions at section B2(b) of the Google+ Platform Developer Policies).
